No discord voice chat audio when game starts

So I had this problem with black ops 6 also and marvel rivals and for some reason when I start the game it I stop hearing my discord buds and I have to re-enter discord chat to hear them again. You think this is a discord or marvel rivals settings issue? Any ideas?

I have the same problem. It occurs as soon as the [System] starts after launching the game for me.

So I had a similar issue with Marvel Rivals. For some reason only when the game would hit a load screen ( aka join a game or leave a game ) would my Discord audio cut out. I would have to leave the channel and come back repeatedly to restore it, which was quite annoying to say the least.

I am using a wireless headset and it was affecting only me, so I had a hunch it might be electrical interference. This only happens with Marvel Rivals, but then again this game pushes my GPU to the limit compared to what I usually play. So I simply moved my USB wireless adapter for the headset from the back of my PC to the front, and the issue went away.

Assuming your issue is electrical interference from your GPU/CPU under full load then this may be a valid solution for you as well. Hope that helps!

I've tried that, it didn't work. Is there a another solution to this problem.

A friend is having the same issue, running as admin isnt fixing the issue. It only happens when the load screen or he gets into an actual match.

nothing y'all? Like no way ive come across a problem only a few have and no real solutions have come up. the discord exe as admin didnt fix my game issue either.

Not sure if you are still having this issue, but I had the same problem, admin mode didn't fix anything, did a ton of troubleshooting and finally noticed the drive for me audio device was not installed correctly (was showing a yellow symbol on it in device manager) after reinstalling the driver correctly it seemed to be working. Hopefully works for you also.

Haven't tried setting to admin mode yet, but figured I'd add the workaround I've been using: if I open Discord Settings, go to Voice & Video, and then set the output device to the same setting it's already on that fixes the problem for the rest of the call (or at least it normally does).

Im having the same Issue,and I figured it started happening when I started using the nvdia background noise canceling software on my headset. turning it off might fix the issue (idk i don't have that many friends on discord to try now)

Ah so it's because the game is malware. Figures.

I always found ALT+F4 fixes my Discord issues.
