After starting the game, there is a problem with the CPU core
Hello everyone!

I've encountered an unusual issue after launching the game. I have an i5-7500 processor (4 cores, 4 threads), and as soon as I launch the game (even just reaching the launcher), one of the logical processors (the second one, corresponding to a physical core) stops functioning properly. It remains under minimal load in all other games and applications. The only way to fix this is by rebooting the computer.

When launching the game, it asks for administrator rights to run the launcher. Using Process Hacker, I noticed that a service is started during this process, likely by the anti-cheat system. This service appears to have a different name every time (e.g., AppData\Local\Temp\NEPb464d98), which I assume is standard practice for anticheats.

I tried manually terminating this service after closing the launcher, but it doesn’t resolve the problem. The issue persists until the system is rebooted.

Has anyone else encountered a similar situation? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I just realized my cpu is having the same issue and it's sometimes take up to 2 restarts to fix. I'm thinking of just tossing the game because I'm sick of unreal 5 nonsense making me feel like my computer never works right.

I'm glad that you are a true IT guru who is not only able to identify problems in a game engine at a glance, but also masters the art of reading words on the screen! Surely even the Unreal Engine 5 developers will appreciate your level of expert analysis
