did this, improved my fps but no help regarding the dr strange portal crashes.
You would be the first. It fixed it for pretty much everyone else.
What are your settings looking like?
Portal is a game from 2007 and SplitGate is a multiplayer game from 2019 which is built on Unreal 4.
Portals that show a different part of a map in real time and high quality is not new and mental tech it's just implemented really badly in this game.
Unreal Engine 5 + no optimization whatsoever = high specs requirements
I am playing with every single setting at minimum and a portal still tanks my FPS down to 20 or so.
