Set your graphics settings to absolute lowest and see how fast it'll be
Did it work out for you? I'm planning to reinstall windows OS to get rid of crap and install it on my SSD.
Im a bit wary of switching it over to my M.2 as that holds my windows files and I really dont want a game to spread whatever invisible threats it has onto my windows.
optimization is dead. UE5 helped ruin it.
This is the down side of PC gaming. Consoles are consistent, but PCs are WILDLY different between individual systems. So optimizing games like Marvel Rivals, an online cooperative game with a dozen different people ACROSS PC AND CONSOLES, it's VERY difficult to get everything working smoothly. Literally changing something like the damage value of Thor's ultimate could cause bizarre ♥♥♥♥ for no reason because YOUR system threw a fit calculating those extra few damage ticks. Netease is always working on the game and updating it, so the only certain option is to wait until they identify more problems (Which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard when all anyone tells you is "Not optimized!") and make the game run smoother for more people. Which will inevitably butt against FIXED problems and cause NEW problems, because that's how it goes.
Do the SSD thing, make sure your drivers are all updated, do all that stuff. But if that fails, I have something that helped me at least. It didn't FIX the problem, but it REDUCED it a lot.
Go to Settings > Display > Graphics
Set graphics quality to Medium
Then go down to Post Processing and set that to low, and change Model Detail to Performance.
Again, this didn't ELIMINATE the issue, but it made it much less of a problem.
Companies releasing super buggy and poorly optimized games IS an issue in the industry, but Marvel Rivals actually has a good reason it SEEMS to not be optimized. There's so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moving in so many directions just due to the nature of the game alongside so much different hardware that something's bound to go wrong for someone. People tend to forget how complicated this stuff is and just think there's a one stop shop to make "Optimized games". There's not, every single game needs different things to work as smoothly as possible, and even if you code everything perfectly the game could explode because it's angry at your AMD graphics card. So the real solution, is just wait until the game is improved and your specific problem gets hit. Until then, either don't play or try these things to minimize the issue.
