Game overrides Push-To-Talk Button for Steam Voice Chat

Heii there guys,
i was talking to my friend on steam voice chat today and she uses T to talk on steam. As soon as she launches into the game it seems all keyboard inputs are fully limited to the game and her Push-To-Talk button stops working. Furthermore when turning her input to Voice Activated i also can't hear her but as soon as we close the game or even in another game on steam it works perfectly fine. Has anyone encountered this or an idea what causes it?

I suspect the anti cheat would be to blame, which, tbf, is valid. It absolutely should lock inputs to the exe lest someone uses macro software or trainers.
I'd suggest she reach out to Steam Support and report the issue to them so they can contact the developer and work out the solution they need to do.

As for Voice Activated, me and my sister recently had a similar issue in Planet Crafter, and that game has no anti cheat, so I suspect possibly a Steam bug. We resolved it with restarts. (to clarify, she could hear me but I could not hear her)
