Loki being hard to kill is somewhat lore accurate but it's also making things super annoying. Basically it relies on a combination attack, you attack Loki and while he's distracted you simultaneously kill the other healer and then you start dealing with his team and finally you can take care of Loki. This or just have Scarlet Witch ult and delete everyone on the enemy team from 10 million light years away. Supports shouldn't be as elusive as Loki is, a high value target like a support being hard to kill isn't good.
I think characters like Luna Snow , Mantis and Cloak and (lol) Dagger could be fine since they can't just do burst healing.
I just don't like it when the HP bar of the enemy i'm attacking goes up as if i'm not doing any damage. "Focus the supports" doesn't work all the time since they can be protected and putting all the win conditions on one strategy is a bad thing to do.
I do think that focusing supports should be a memo but as an adventagous thing not a necessary thing to do.
They do, but with Sharky having easy escape plans, Luna / Mantis having good cc / etc, if you go in and aim for healers, you usually just die by being kited / etc
Game just needs less healing, especially if healers can kill people in 4 hits.
Or 1 hit, with Jeff throwing himself off-stage with half my team . . .
Trash balance, we can see that easily
Black Widow and Hawkeye can kill any healer in one hit.
Focusing supports has always been the key to victory in Overwarch, why should it be any different in this game that is a clone of Overwatch?
Loki's doppelgangers aren't invincible, you can delete it in one second, it doesn't move. The thing I hate the most as a Loki player is when the enemies shoot my clones. It takes forever to respawn them but they can be deleted in an isntant.
It is a key to victory yes. But if it's the only key to victory then it'll be a problem. Basically i'm all for the team that focuses supports winning. But not all the time you can focus them.
For Loki yes not invincible but the clones have same HP as Loki pretty much plus you can give them basically double hp with an ability (weird immortality field thingy above their head) so you have to shoot the ability , shoot the clone and then shoot the loki himself. That is if he doesn't have other clones.
Like i said before. Healing should not override damage but reduce it instead. As in damage should always be higher than healing (maybe it is but not everyone has %100 accuracy unless you have aimbot)
Luna snow , Mantis , CnK etc. are fine as they don't really override damage much. But some characters just do too much like Jeff , Loki etc. Haven't tried other healers so i can't really comment but i can confidently say that Jeff and Loki seems to be doing too much healing.
If you want less healing go play Valorant.
first: kill the healer
second:
third: kill other player
Marvel Rivals also copied Paladins characters not just Overwatch.
Loki = Ying
Namor = Barik
Groot = Inara
Jeff = Moji
Paladins in the past where you can buy a anti-heal item. Because the top character builds in the game have self sustain healing. Almost every game the anti-healing item is a must even if the enemy team does not have a healer.
Paladins update last year and remove the anti-heal item, instead there is a percentage of anti-healing mechanic, the longer the game the heal output decreases from 100% to 40%. Making healing less than effective at end game.
This means supports in Paladins, at least on higher ranks, are customized by top player to be built as DPS with heals.
So Marvel Rivals devs could copy that mechanic from Paladins.
