With the Steam deinstallation, the Anticheat of the game should be also uninstalled. From an IT perspective I can reassure you, a big company like it is behind this game shouldnt harm your computer :)

i guess youre right but what do i do if this anticheat conflicts with something else? if i had a name for the anticheat id atleast have a start but as of right now i couldnt even find their anticheat's name online which is REALLY scary
i already uninstalled the game and i hope thats enough but ive seen some games in the past leaving their anticheat still installed after the uninstallation of the game itself

some of it is deleted , some is held inside your localfiles , and the registries are in Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache

thats all i can find at the minute but its left everywhere ... ive never seen so many files from an anticheat when its "uninstalled " normally just a logfile .. etc ...

i guess i shouldve researched more about the game before installing it... thats on me but still id really appreciate it if anybody could give me a straight answer...

If you had bad paranoia and anxiety issues with downloading things, you would've never installed it before researching.
youre not me and you dont get to dictate what mistakes i get to make

Uninstall with "Revo Uninstaller" a free software that removes all associated files left after a program is uninstalled

the anticheat name is netease and its from a company based in hangzhou .. which also makes ACE and a few others ... i believe its a tencent company not sure ... lots of weird things

Tencent and NetEase are different, Tencent uses ACE which also doesnt remove itself from the system but it actually did on their new game Strinova, on the other hand, NetEases uses their NEAC. In Marvel Rivals they use a newer version of NEAC that, to my findings, only runs when you boot the game and I did an extensive search and found no trace of it after uninstalling the game, in Netease's older game Naraka you would find NEAC files in your system32 folder as well, but not the case with Marvel Rivals, I believe the newer NEAC seems more... ethical? Probably designed to not get any backlash since this is a Marvel IP.
makes sense since i couldnt find anything related to NEAC on my machine even while i had the game installed

Ignore the clowns, they cant have a simple conversation here. I also uninstalled Marvel Rivals after almost 10 hours, I was waiting for it since day 1 of the announcement but the performance issues are crazy right now and since they are not addressed yet, my guess is its not going to get any better in the future, 70-140 fps max at medium to low settings on 1080p on a PC that runs most competitive shooters at 300-400 fps.
yeah im aware of how bad things can get in the steam forums
usually whenever i remember the report button exists i report anything bad right away
anyway... yeah that sucks :/
i got hyped to play it because another friend of mine was really into it and i just wanted to play something with him but in that whole process i forgot to do my homework and learn more about the game beforehand
he has a 3060 btw... from what youre telling me i wont be surprised if it runs badly on his machine as well

I uninstalled the game after 2 hours of playing on launch night, and overall ended up losing 6 GB of SSD space that I had prior to installing. No other changes, so something is taking up space even after uninstalling and I have no idea what, or where to look, or how to clean it up.

format your hard drive then reinstall windows.

BLAM! Your done, no more anti cheat software.

If you are really paranoid about what is lurking on your comp you'ed be doing a clean install every 6 months to a year anyway.
