Nobody Wants To Support

Healing from Strategists is rare in my experience, they mostly focus on damage. I can't tell you how many times I died to something I shouldn't have because BOTH Strategists were focusing damage on the enemy tanks or whoever. Because Jeff is off 1v1'ing Scarlet Witch.

That or they're focusing all healing on Thor and nobody else gets a single bit of healing at all.

i had a clown playing hulk earlier complaining that i wasn't healing him despite me being dead and waiting to respawn i try to heal everyone i can but support is a 2 way street if im getting focused and dying because no ones using shields or bodyblocking i can't heal if im dead.
at the same time i hardly see people make their way towards the characters that can heal instead they try to flank the entire enemy team at half hp or peek and get rushed down theres also health packs scattered around the maps

if they do heal one person or no one at all start memorizing where those health spawns are

When I heal 25k no one presses the like button, top killer gets all the likes.

I'm not like that.
I'm talking about I'm Vanguard and I'm on the objective defending it, and so is everyone else, and Luna flat out leaves to go 1v1 a Spider Man she saw, and then Jeff just stops healing to hold right click on the enemy tank, so everybody dies.

I'm talking about I'm playing Hawkeye, and Scarlet Witch is attacking me and I ping her, and Jeff who is right next to me and sees this would rather run off to who knows where and start attacking someone else.

I'm talking about I'm low on health, there are Strategists around to heal me, I'm right infront of them so they can see, and rather than heal they are both dealing damage to the enemy team and I die.

as somebody who's been playing strategist primarily I find myself having to peel for the other healer pretty often because nobody else will do it. we're getting Iron Fisted into next week, or venom/hulk hold w and left click on us and ain't nobody worried about it. i also get iron man players flying directly over my character spam pinging for heals in the middle of a team fight, rather than just placing himself in my fov.

yeah there's probably some playing this role who aren't supporting their team as you'd expect but from my experience with it sometimes you need to force a 1v1 on the guy who's been diving you all game because you can't use support abilities while dead, and just because your low health doesn't mean you're being ignored and the priority is more likely the people directly ahead in the fight at a similar health value who are at greater risk of dying.

Unless that unlocks some kind of reward, I fail to see why that should be important. At the end of the day, we're all just strangers refusing to listen to the stranger-danger rule.

Hi, Strategist main here. I can promise you that we exist and we do heal. However the fastest way to make me switch off of healer and play something I'm not so great at, is if I am constantly being dived and picked in the back line; or the team just spreads out to the point healing is impossible.

If the DPS isn't doing the job of damage, someone has to.
Nothing is more annoying than DPS players that don't do anything at any point. Like, your entire purpose is to kill someone out of position and kill supports so the enemy team can get wiped due to lack of healing. If the DPS isn't doing the damage then supports have to step up and do it instead because you refuse to do your job correctly.

You should stop and think "Why is the support fighting 1v1 against Scarlet Witch?" instead of "Oh, my support is fighting 1v1 against Scarlet Witch." The answer is simple, people don't peel for their supports to do their job. The support is fighting 1v1 against Scarlet Witch because nobody else is trying to kill her to protect the support.

Oh I think I was playing with you. Your name looks familiar. You have to understand when I play Jeff I don't play a healer. I play a Strategist. My strategy is to flank the enemy team and gank their backline.

Ah no it wasn't you. The guy I was playing with earlier who sounded like Borko was a Starlord. I was also not next to him I was in on the other side of the map killing their backline -- where the Starlord was supposed to be? I guess he was healing our Vanguard on the front and wondering why his gun wasn't healing our Groot.

but imagine ur playing support u got an iron man flying all over the place then complain cause u gotta find him in the sky all the time to heal him >_> then miss the people on the floor dying yet hes the one complaining cause he can 'carry'

This ♥♥♥♥ always happens bro. You get double the healing of anyone in the game and fellers come at you like "Guess we need 4 support". I just had a match of a payload push where I did 20k healing and one of the dps was saying "Guess I'm just gonna get ignored" like there's no way there was 30k healing on our team alone and you DIDNT get healed.
