Jeff shouldn't be able to eat allies in his ultimate, I don't know if I was the only one who had the bad luck of having a troll Jeff on my team, in one match a Jeff ulted me, alone, then went to the edge of the map and spat me out, he was my ally, and in one match my entire team reported our Jeff because he ate 3 in his ult and did the same thing, we even lost because of that.

No. The problem is that you can't think in terms of a team - you think of your support as an external automata that hopefully adjusts their game to your needs.

Jeff's ultimate seems balanced around the very concept of being ambiguous in its effect to some degree. They can also use it to save you, in theory. Which is expressive and, in my opinion, well designed.

They are your teammate. They can, like you do, make misplays. If he was trolling then just report him - but that has nothing to do with the functioning of the hero itself.

Funny thing is that there's no way they didn't imagine this method of trolling when they made Jeff's kit. So they likely aren't going to get rid of eating allies fully. Instead what they could do is allow allies to exit the ulti early on their own.

Which would be awful and reduce the creative expressiveness of abilities. Why can't you just accept they are your teammate, and they too make decisions that might or might not be wrong?

This is the price of F2P. If there was a price tag attached to getting a copy of the game, then there would be a real price to pay for trolling since sooner or later ban catches up with that loser. But when it's free to create throw-away accounts just to scratch the trolling itch? Yeah, this is what you get.

Not advocating for B2P, just telling that it is what it is. Either that - or strangle any creativity that character kits could have.

First (and only) time I did this I felt so bad. I captured 3 people and started for the ledge.

Fortunately I realized what was going on and spat them out safely but the other 2 on the team got trounced in the meantime.

I had no idea it could grab allies too.

Oh shut up. Other players aren't robots designed to agitate you. Nobody is going to go over several banned accounts to "troll" you by slightly inconveniencing you in a videogame. At most the one-in-a-million outcast that makes it their identity to do so.

We have become so sensitive to everything other humans can only offend you at this stage. What if they made a genuine mistake? Does it really warrant another aneurysm?

Dude, playing badly and making a mistake is totally different from eating your entire team, walking a long way to the edge of the map and spitting them all out. That's not mistake, that's intentionally trolling. I'm not saying the character is wrong, but this mechanic opens up loopholes for anyone who wants to troll and ruin the teammates game intentionally.

That's not playing badly, that's intentionally harming your team. Trolls aside I like it. A jeff saved me from an ult by eating me, then accidentally spat me off the map. :D

I agree, like Tahm Kench's ultimate from LoL, the ally being able to choose to leave before after a few seconds is a really good solution.
