Packet Loss after death. InLost up to 40%. Red network indicator
Hey everyone!
I know I'm not the only one who has this problem and there are other discussion on this matter here.
I just want to suggest everyone who has the same problem texting Marvel Rivals Support team to attract more attention to the issue and to help the devs with providing more data on it.

I did it myself and it took me several interactions with the support team.
So here I will describe all steps you can do to send everything right away, just like they asked me to do. If you want, of course.

Step 1. Join Marvel Rivals Discord

You can find the link in the game, just go to the main screen, press ESC, then go to COMMUNITY section.

Step 2. Text Marvel Rivals Support team

In the Discord server on the right you can find a member with the nickname and role "Marvel Rivals Support"

Text them directly.
Example:

Problem with packet loss.

Issue type: Bug
In-game UID: (you can find it in your profile in the game)
Nickname: (your nickname in the game)
Server: (to see what servers you play on in the game go to PLAY, then look at the top right corner)
Gaming platform: Steam (PC)
Detailed description: (you can describe your case differently or copypaste mine)

I have 26-48 ping and zero packet InLost in the beginning of the game.
Everything runs smoothly, but once I die InLost indicates 8% or higher, up to 40% which is unplayable. And it stays permanently until the end of the game.
At the same time, the ping keeps being stable the whole game.
Beginning of each game runs smoothly, but once I die the InLost value increases.

I have no issue with similar games like Overwatch or Valorant.
On Reddit and in the discussion section on Steam I saw other people have the same issue.
So I hope you fix it soon!

I also suggest you to attach some screenshots since they asked me to do so.

And they asked me to send them logs and other info which you can do with the official tool that locates in the game directory.

This is how you use it:
1. Go to the game directory, and find the .exe file called "client_diagnosis.exe"
2. Run it and wait (it can take a while)
3. When it's done the tool opens the directory where it placed all results in a .zip
It's called "diagnose_yyyy_mm_dd_xx_xx_xx.zip"
Attach it to the message too

You will receive auto reply that will ask you to do some steps you already did. Just ignore it and wait for a real person respond.

This is all I have for now. I sent my diagnose zip several hours ago and haven't received a response yet. But we will see.
I'll try to keep updates about the situation here. So if you want to follow them just subscribe to the discussion or check it from time to time.
Let me know if you have any news on it as well.

Last news. I got a non-auto reply confirmation that my report was recorded and will be worked on. So hopefully it will be fixed soon.

@BougnoulitoSenpai what folder? You only need to send that diagnose_..._.zip archive. Mine was 3.34 MB

The same problem applies to me. This problem is being talked about everywhere. Some players don't have this problem, but the majority don't even know to look. This value is 0 when starting the game, but the inlost increases as you die.

True, my friend played for 6 hours and only found out about it because I told him to check and he has the exact same problem

Oh, wow, that's crazy. I actually opened FAQ on the official site and even in the screenshots of that tool they show a file that is 100 MB big. So weird they suggest discord as the only way to share it then..

Yes, it's the same problem. You can turn on the network stats in the Display settings and you will see the numbers

Any updates bro ??
I am having the same problem low ping but the trigger is when i get killed, spikes the InLost to 73% and don't get respawned at all. The game is unplayable for now.

Nope, unfortunately. The last (and first) patch was released quite quickly and fixed a lot considered the patch note, so I hope the next patch will fix our problem and will be released soon. I can see lots of people in different countries having this problem, so it's not a server/country related thing, apparently. Since it's something a global issue, I think it should be fixed asap
