How do I enable PlayStation UI / glyphs?

It's really confusing to me using PlayStation controller but all the menus giving me Xbox instructions. There should be a simple toggle for this, why is it so difficult?

You need to disable steam input entirely for the game. Then launch it. Should pick up your controller without steam input and show the proper glyphs.

That's whack. RGG games as well as many others detect your input method and show the appropriate. Ideally though they should just let us pick which ones we want to see.

I'm using Xinput devices but prefer PlayStation glyphs as I'm a few milliseconds faster at identifying those; since Nintendo and Xbox want to share buttons but move them around, forcing an ingrained translation layer in me for Xbox prompts. Thanks to fighting games, PlayStation icons don't have a translation layer for me and I just push the button without thinking about it

I asked support for help and they were useless. They gave me the runaround and asked for a bunch of useless information like a screen shot and my UID.

Are you using a PS4 controller by any chance?

Sadly, this is an issue they just haven't fixed. With a PS4 controller on PC, you just can't get the PS Glyphs to show up. You also can't remap the "Share" button either (I was hoping to make the touchpad the "Interact" button).

They probably don't know that this is an issue, but I wish I could let them know. I hate having to remember glyphs while playing and just getting it all wrong.
