Pairing him with thor is the way to go since my biggest dislike is him being close range only.
Although i agree on the payload part, hes awful on defense, you have to play fairly slow and wait for the right moments to dive the backline. He really reminds me of og dps Doomfist on OW1, Leap distract heals and get out with dash.
If your're playing against a good enough Iroman or storm you might as well switch, they punish to hard and u cant do much, unless you have your teamup ability with thor.
Use the jump even if you don't intend to slam. It is great way to just be a harder target and allow you to charge the soft ones.
If your 1st melee hit connects, your following hits are actually a shield throw that'll bounce between targets.
Your shield reflects projectiles, so use that to completely dunk on ranged characters.
Also, don't forget you have a shield rush which is your 2nd option for a temp stun.
I have no idea if this reality stats wise, but I 1v1 hulk no problem by just punching only.
There is also the shield block, throw, shield block combo. Some reason the throw when your shield breaks resets the block again. Maybe am wrong about it, but something going here.
Steal healthpacks, because with all that mobility you can grab em and then re-enter the fight within seconds.
