Performance issues/Memory leak?

I, along with MANY have had huge performance problems. The beta was buttery smooth for me but this launch isnt working. Even on lowest of the low settings, it plays the exact same as high settings. Idk if its a memory leak or what. I also noticed that in my task manager, my memory is at 100% usage in the MAIN MENU. Same with my gf on her computer. And yes we both have above the recommended. Its playable, just low frames and freezing.

I have an older system, 2600x processor and 1070 gpu, but from reading various posts the low frames I'm experiencing seem to be very common regardless of setup. I get 40-50 tops.

I also have been experiencing this. It's very annoying in the heat of a team fight.

It happens to me more often in the Asian maps with more dense destructible terrain I noticed.

Comparing anything to a "beta" test with much less load on the servers is not a good comparison. UE5 isnt optimized as good as the previous engines / other engines. Give it time there will be a Driver update soon along with Dev updates

I have 3070 i7-12700f 16 gb ram and getting around 100 fps but the game stutters quite a bit for me.

The beta was using the same engine it is now so it should play the same. Either way it's only been a couple days so updates will come. Im aware of that. Just hoping it's soon since the game is fun but unplayable for me

I have almost the exact same specs, except I have a 3070 TI and 32gb of ram but my game doesn't get even remotely close to 100. even on lowest settings (low preset) I get maybe 45-50fps average with drops down to 15-20 regularly.

i havent found a fix for performance/fps but i found out the crashing issue alot of people are having is only on 2 maps. Asgard and Wakanda. Its a guaranteed disconnect on those maps 10/10 times. Every other map works fine. I just got a 15 minute punishment for the game force disconnecting me

I got a amd r7 8700f and a 4060, 16 ddr5, im sitting at 125+fps everything high some max, having no issues. Could it be a intel issue?

im not sure if anyone will see this but i solved this issue (screen tearing, 100% hard drive usage, performance issues) —————


1.) uninstall Steam version of Rivals
2.) fresh install of Rivals but through the native NetEase installer that you can download off their website. just look up “Marvel Rivals download” on google and they’re the first result.

After my fresh install of Rivals through the NetEase installer/NetEase launcher, not only have i GAINED about over 60fps during matches (around 170fps average now from 110-100), but i have also completed eliminated the 100% usage of my hard drive during games. now my hard drive usage is at normal percentages during my matches.

PLEASE NOTE: if you have already grinded on your steam account / have gotten to competitive and ranked up / bought cosmetics, you will lose everything and will have to start from scratch on a brand new account. there is no option to sign in through steam on the native NetEase launcher. only Gmail and the other usual login types are available.

Same issues here. Most likely just gonna have to suffer through and wait for a patch/fix. I imagine that since this is such a common issue regardless of hardware, they'll probably address this pretty quickly. Fingers crossed
