Join a match, get connection issues and penalized

I've joined 3 matches now where I instantly can't move more then 3 feet without everyone disconnecting and reconnecting and then after a min or so i get kicked for inactivity ????? and penalized for being a bad player.

Here's 2 things that I noticed:
1) Some players having "stuck in loading screen at 0%" issue - it will fix itself if you relaunch your game.
2) If you got disconnected - don't abandon the match, click on re-connect instead to not get penalized. There is a chance that the game already got a new (another) player connected so you will be drawn back to the menu without any penalties.

not true. It happens to me constantly and when I reconnect someone has already taken my place. I play one game after that then I receive a penalty for abandoning the match prior. Also restarting may fix the issue for a game or two but proceeds to happen again. Unplayable!

I play an entire match, am on the score screen, try to queue up for another game and it says I'm penalized for disconnecting. HOW!?

wrong. ive been penalized 3 times even after clicking reconnect

I am super late to this but this just happened to me last night and I also got penalized but it never gave me an option to reconnect, it was just stuck infinitely saying "connecting"

I have been trying to contact support but they don't respond. Discord won't allow me to verify so i can't use the discord method.
