If you have an NVIDIA card, MANUALLY update it.

NVIDIA dropped an update launch day knowing that this game was going to blow up and their current setup couldn't handle it. However windows update utility will tell you that your card is up to date, is is not, go to the NVIDIA website and manually download the latest update. Game went from 200+ ping and 15 FPS to buttery smooth for me.
