I feel like i'm having a stroke playing this game... as a healer
Like i said and it's isn't a bait i would want to feel different about this game but i can't..
and to everyone playing this game right now hey if you enjoying it good for you have fun BUT its hard to see anything.. beautiful colorful comic but did you have you tried playing as a healer? you literally have to survive fighting for your life at the same time aiming to heal someone when a lot A LOT ♥♥♥♥ is happening on the screen and before you start yapping that ,,this is what it looks like to play a healer"
comparing this game to OV and Paladins the game is unreadable after few matches you feel exhausted not rewarded.

Maybe if healers have more ways to just escape tougher situations for the price of a smaller damage it would be better becasue when 500 pounds Venom jumps on you whit enemy Thor on your back you will do ♥♥♥♥
maybe i been in teams that do not worry about defending the healer but it's not cool...

DPS is fine becasue you are just killing everything on your way and team who has worst healer lose.
Tanks were the most fun to play with

but looking at it from a wider perspective maybe i had teams that where just jumping foward like f** monkeys

true, i run an Adam warlock and its real hard to survive out there, tho land shark has good survivability aong support toons

I think healers are the hardest to play. You have to do everything a DPS does but also look out for your teammates.

Dagger is the only healer I find just right, all the others it feels so difficult to keep up.

I'm going to drop a hot take here: as a fellow healer, it DOES suck to play a healer, but only because over half the roster either auto-target or auto-hit with their abilities.

Say what you want about OW2...at least the aiming felt good and required skill.

I'm a support main. The support gameplay is fine and perfect right now, I have no complaints. As a support, you are supposed to be squishy and weak when you are jumped by a strong hero or two. You actually have a fair bit of counter-plays for that when that happens. Dagger can shift into cloak and just run away, Mantis can sleep-blast someone (if they are not using a shield) or she can just buff herself and run back to her team (as a support, you should be hugging your team anyways) Rocket Raccoon can just rocket away, you can literally heal yourself with your own Orbs while running away, Rocket Raccoon can literally climb walls like a damn animal. Jeff the land shark probably needs a buff, he feels weak right now I will admit.

Like I said, healing gameplay is good. It is like medic from TF2, you are supposed to be healing everyone and everyone at all times, or damaging people at all times. You need to be doing something, which is good and I enjoy. Supports actually take skill in this game.

the skill ceiling is barely above the floor so yeah it feels awful because you just getting melted and there isnt any real counterplay in 75% of situations

looking at the comment maniacal<1> posted it looks completely different when half of roster is auto casting and where is the reward for your commitment don't get me wrong im glad there are helear players liike you but in this kind of scenario there will only be room left for hardcore healers and many people will choose dps/tank over healer and soon there will be no medics in teams

only if I choose him at the beginning becasue if i change on him when eariler enemy team was focusing on me well... they will smash me anyway as soon they spot me :steamsad:

I think that's what will inevitably force me to just give up. I like the IP, I'm a HUGE Marvel fan ( not MCU, actual MARVEL ) and I really dig the art and voice-lines and lore. And some matches, I can have fun! Especially as I started to get the hang of Thor ( even if his ultimate is absolute dog-♥♥♥♥♥ ).

However all it takes is one or two matches where we are just getting out-played at every angle and the issue is that there's NOTHING we can do about it. One round we never even got TO the payload to escort it, they farmed us at spawn with Witch, Starlord, Loki, Hulk and Hawkeye ( the last player kept cycling ). There was no defense against that, no team comp that would allow us to push out into that overwhelming dmg and take the point, we spent the entire round in our spawn.

And that feels BAD. Too many auto-hit abilities, too much auto-aim, and the speed difference between heroes is horrible. As Thor, Starlord could literally dance around me and I couldn't touch him, couldn't even out-run him to hide. It made me not want to play anymore. And Iron Fist is even worse.

I feel like the various aim compensation will keep this from EVER achieving 'competitive' status, because the big players won't touch it if the shooting isn't satisfying and the normies will always drift from one title to another, which leaves this in limbo once the 'newness' wears off.
Loki is hard but very fun to play. Very complex but rewarding kit

the game is in desperate need of a brainless mercy-like healer. it feels impossible to enjoy landshark when everyone seems to actively avoid your own bubbles.
LordOfTheMorning 6/dez./2024 às 11:41
Try Cloak and dagger. ill admit i do get jumped on by iron fist or wolverine. but instantly being able to swap to a mini dps, tends to be its own form of survivability. i do think the healers in general need a form a good movement. but cloaks alt fire is kinda evasion. so ive been doing good in at least the tdm game mode

i absolutely agree. im not normally a support player. but picking up cloak and dagger has been my awakening, the duel healing/damaging is so fun to just shoot into crowds, the healing wall, that passes through everything. and the moon knight combo is more funny than game changing. but i like it. whenever i remember to click the damn button
