Terrible FPS ISSUE
I have 2060super
AMD Ryzen 7 9700x
32 GB Ram
I run all other games just fine but this game I run it at 30-40 FPS WHY?!?
I turned on Frame Generation Mode and I get 95-100 FPS, but it doesnt really look like 90-100. Really wish I had a solution.

I tried this and it worked for me

Good to know :)

I found a solution guys !!!! I update my nvidia drivers (NVIDIA STUDIO 566.36) but do a clean installation (click on "personalised" and check "New installation")

ALERT : Don't reboot, you can play directly

When you reboot your PC you have to do the same thing idk why.. But it works for me !

The game seems to run much better in Linux for some reason, I get a pretty consistent 100+ FPS maxed out with the 7900XT, 5700X3D processor.

Somethings to note, this game requires 32 GB of system RAM, not sure yet how much VRAM as well, maybe someone can test this.

Frame generation should NEVER be used in this kind of game and the fact that it's an option is embarrassing, this is a competitive multiplayer game.

Dr. Strange's portal tanks everyone's FPS for some reason.

never use frame generation in competitive games, there would be delays since the actual framerate isn't what shown to you via frame generation.

but the fps problem is real, I can play Delta Force on 1440p ultra and I hit 180-220 fps but I can't reliably hit 144 fps in this game even on medium settings.

Its alright if you're already getting like 120 base FPS and wanna push it to your screen hz. Its even fine if you have stable 60 fps but preferably 120 base fps. In any case, I'd prefer if devs actually optimized their game so we don't have to use frame gen...

Are you saying frame gen has less input lag if your base fps is 120+? I have a 240hz monitor with a 4070ti and I get like 120 fps in fights. Hoping for a fix.

Yes the higher your base stable framerate, the less input lag is noticeable. At 60 base fps its very playable, but you can feel the latency, and at 120 its barely noticeable. At least from my experience. I don't really have a lot of games to test it with. Most games run fine without it or just don't have built in frame gen.

Also don't know about DLSS frame gen in this game, but FSR does not work in Marvel Rivals! It will show more fps but its not generating any frames! So all you get is input latency without even the "fake" frames. You can test it by locking fps to 30, seeing how choppy it looks, and then turning on FSR. It will look just as choppy despite showing 60 fps, but with added input latency. And you know how 60 fps looks. Restarting the game after turning it on does not change anything.

EDIT: If you want frame gen in Marvel Rivals, assuming DLSS frame gen doesn't work either, wait for update, or use something like Losseless Scaling. And a tip for frame gen, lock your framerate to your stable framerate. Even if you can reach higher framerates, it will feel better if its not varying.

this game is overpraised by ex-overwatch players, it is like they play this just because they hate OW so much
This game is extremely poorly optimized, there are problems with Shaders.
It has memory leaks, the game does not use the GPU efficiently.
The developers of this game do not know how to program in C++, which is the official language of Unreal Engine.
This is without a doubt one of the most poorly used FPS games in recent times.
Iam playing on 200-280 FPS. You have to high settings for your toaster :)
