Settings are not saved
Every time I run it, I see the shaders compile.
And every time the settings are reset

Did yall change the game file for mouse accel ?? if so then you have to change the settings in the files instead of ingame, worked for me

I've been having the same issues every time I set the display settings they revert back to the defaults in the next match and its a terrible lagfest

Like V mentioned you should check the properties of the config file directly and uncheck "read-only" if it's enabled. This was the case for me as I disabled mouse acceleration and changed it when doing that.

Go to C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\Marvel\Saved\Config\Windows. If you can’t see AppData, enable hidden files in File Explorer (View > Hidden items). You can also quickly get to this with the cmd Windows + R, then enter %appdata%.

Once there, check if the GameUserSettings.ini file is set to "read-only." If it is, toggle it off. Launch the game, adjust your settings as needed, and then close the game. Don’t forget to add the lines to disable mouse acceleration again.

After saving, right-click the file, go to Properties, and check "Read-only." If you need to update settings later, uncheck "Read-only," edit, and reapply it.

Hopefully, this helps even if this wasn't the result of disabling your mouse acceleration. Let me know if it works!

This didn't work for me. I never had read only applied but I tried changing the in game display setting then applying read only but it still resets my display settings every time I close the game does anyone have a clue how to fix it bc I'm stumped

Try it this way: Go in the game files and change the settings there directly. Corukai explained it pretty well but if you ONLY want to change your resolution:

Go to the file and turn off read only> Press CTRL+F and type ResolutionSize> Change it to what you want it to be> Make sure "FullscreenMode" says 0 or 1> Then save the file and reapply read only (make sure the game and steam are closed in your task manager before doing all that) If it still doesnt work try turning off read only and reinstall the game and (in steam) verify the files and try to see if you can change it now in the game directly. If its still a problem the issue might be coming from your windows settings or maybe your graphic card try looking in there 👍

This worked for me thank you very much
For others: the suggested windows paths above were not working at all so i just searched GameUserSettings.ini on my whole PC and was able to find the correct Marvel one. That being said, this fix did not work for me :( was not in read only. The resolution is correct but none of my other settings i.e. quality will stick.
