had three crash files, from a few hours playing for the first time.
one of them was TWENTY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GIGS!
thank you for pointing this out, because this is actually insane.
dropping this game till there's an update, what the actual ♥♥♥♥? HOW?!
I have had crashes in the past but i have since solved them by updating bios and changing power limits to the intel defaults. Mobo vendors are ignoring power limits and the default is set to 4000 watts (theres a jayzTwoCents video on fixing the crashes)
Hope my experience helps someone
Intel announced a few months ago that all their CPUs are frying and issued an extended warranty to get them all returned. Crashing games was a common symptom of the problem escalating.
I have 4090 and i9-14900K.
Intel upgraded my i9-13900K to the 14900K after I reported a failing CPU.
From my experience, the game crashes whenever I attack Thor, it's only a matter of time when he's present in a fight until my GPU drivers fail (under AMD here though). I have only completed games when Thor was absent from start to finish.
Ewww intel...
1. update bios to the latest version
2.BIOS: set your CPU core ration to 54 (Auto is 55 = 5,5 GHz)
3. BIOS:Set the CPU long duration Power Limit (PL1) to 125 W
4. BIOS:Set the CPU short duration Power Limit (PL2) to 253 W
5. Set CPU Current Limit Max to 307 A
The latest bios have fixes from intel regaring their faulty cpus and by setting these recommended values I have now a stable CPU again
