Failed to connect to server

The game simply won't open. I updated the drivers, rebooted the Internet. Two friends had no problem opening the game the first time. It's a disaster. I'm calling the experts.

Launch the game on Steam/Epic
When the Marvel Rivals Launcher pops up, click on "Clear Local Configuration Files"

I just tried this. It did not work for me. I still get the server connection failed message.

I've messaged their support through discord a few times and have made zero progress. Kind of insane. About to give up on the game tbh.

Adding to the plethora of people with the same "Failed to connect to server" error. Played 4 hours on launch with no issues, enough that I've spent money on the game, but since yesterday no luck logging in. It doesn't even seem to try to log me in, immediately spits out "Failed to connect to server" and every time I diagnose my connection it says it's good. It's like my account was banned, except I've done nothing to be banned for. Logging a report through their discord has brought back no response.

Come on Marvel Rivals, I was ready to enjoy this game but this majorly sucks, especially after I've invested actual bills into your game.

same issue im hoping it gets resolved soon me and my girlfriend are the only two that can't play out of our friends it worked fine in beta and at launch tried everything and discord support bot sucks

It works fine on Epic, but we want our main progress on Steam

I contacted support through their bot and it finally went through and got fixed. It's apparently a bug on their end
