I hadn’t considered that lol
The truth is, I’ve never played a third-person shooter, and I’m not sure how to explain it, but constantly seeing my character bothers and distracts me. Maybe I’ll get used to it over time.
I've been playing rocket racoon and i had to keep jumping because i couldn't gauge if i actually had line of sight or if the gun is going to hit the floor especially around stairs or areas with uneven floors (including platforms and roofs)
I feel exactly like you, brosky.
For now, I don't really believe it, but I hope that later on, an option will be added in the settings to switch to first-person view. This is my first time playing a third-person shooter, and sometimes even simple movements feel really uncomfortable to me, like you said, when you're near stairs or similar places. Moreover, in my opinion, shooting is much more complicated because sometimes you can't tell if you're hitting enemies or missing your shots. :/
Focus solely on the crosshair and, generally, what's in front of you. Your brain will eventually learn to just stop seeing your character.
That's what the crosshair is for. Just like in an FPS. If they're in your crosshair, you'll hit. If not, you won't.
this is for the third person enjoyers.
Maybe I’m a noob, but coming from ‘classic’ FPS games and playing this one, I can never tell when I’m hitting enemies and when I’m not. Plus, constantly seeing my character really distracts me from the core gameplay. Also, in certain parts of the map, third-person view isn’t exactly the most comfortable.
That said, I’m really having a lot of fun playing, and I’ve got nothing to complain about ! :p
i never understood the logic behind asking for a first person perspective in a third person designed game.
you say you have fun playing, but you want first person view.
in that case, why not just play Overwatch?
or Paladins? or Team Fortress 2? or any of the other ones i suppose?
