Anyone else getting GPU crashes?

The game plays fine for the most part but in my time playing it's crashed twice now. Once during a match, other time in the main menu. It seems to be a GPU crash but I've not had this happen on other games like this.

For clarity, I'm using Nvidia and my drivers are up to date. It may very well be on my end since my pc is getting up there in age and hardware.

Is anyone here crashing and running Discord at the same time? I re-installed the driver and im not crashing anymore and I also disabled Hardware accelration ONLY on discord and left it ON in windows

this game is STILL crashing. usually every 3-4 games on my 9800x3d 64gb ddr5 and rtx 3080 ti PC. otherwise with high settings and lumen on with DLSS i still get well over 100 fps.

do you have discord open at the same time?

Try disable XMP or reduce ram frequency thats solve it for me

For me after going back to previous driver (the one from august) and then re-updating with clean install it works fine. Google DDU to remove older config and files and then update

That's odd if that's the fix because mine is a brand new PC, and the current driver I have installed has always had issues.

I had the same problems on my last PC too.

I had the same problems on my last PC too.

On reddit many people had issues with new drivers for some reason. I think it's a UE5 problem because I have faced that mostly there. Try these steps and let me know if that helped fix it for you, at least it did for me.

Oh and closing hardware acceleration on other apps like Discord

Using display driver uninstaller and then installing the nvidia driver version 551.61 seems to have fixed it for me. I am currently installing the new driver released today to see if it works.

I just tried the latest driver and still got a GPU crash, except it was in the menu when I clicked a portrait instead of in-game. Likely there's still a memory leak. No access violation crash yet, but I haven't played enough to be sure it's gone.

What was the error you encountered? Also did you use DDU before installing the driver?

You don't have to use DDU every time, moreover it's not even recommenced to run DDU every driver update.

Crashes seem to be originating from UE 5 or game itself. Devs are silent about it. With the amount of crash dumps they got they should fix it by now.
But wait Lattise cash flow is more important.

I used to have this issue. I don't know if someone posted this fix already but what fixed it for me was changing the super sampling resolution type to TAUU with a render scaling of 50 and locking my fps to 1 fps under my monitor's refresh rate (for example if your monitor's refresh rate is 75hz lock your fps to 74). Since then it hasn't crashed at all. Hope this helps.
