Anyone else getting GPU crashes?
The game plays fine for the most part but in my time playing it's crashed twice now. Once during a match, other time in the main menu. It seems to be a GPU crash but I've not had this happen on other games like this.

For clarity, I'm using Nvidia and my drivers are up to date. It may very well be on my end since my pc is getting up there in age and hardware.

How do you know that it’s a cpu crash?

Win 11
3080 10GB
9800X3D
DDR5 6000mhz 32GB RAM
Updated drivers, lowered settings and set FPS cap as well. Still getting heavy crashes. It’s gone to about one crash every 2-3 games. That’s with debug mode on. I’m at a loss. Maybe DDU since I just chucked the GPU into a new system. But aside from that even temps have been fine. It’s gotta be a severe backend memory leak due to UE5 optimization. Nothing else makes sense. Glad to know I’m not alone but man it’s a bummer. My other buddies have zero issues on older rigs.

i have the same gpu as you. have you tried disabling nvidia reflex? this has solved the issue for me so far

I undervolted less and the shader caching seems fixed. 13700K changed from 0.075v to 0.070 and now I can shader cache to 100% without crashing anymore. Wasn't my GPU or MSI Afterburner or Steam Overlay at all apparently. I ONLY seem to have this issue with UE5 games however.

Yes because the 13th and 14th gen CPUs have stability issues. Get an RMA with Intel and update your BIOS. Your issue is not related to this issue we are having.

That’s what I’m hearing as well. It’s a funny new trend in gaming - higher end CPUs struggled playing Space Marine 2 on launch as well because they were being thermal throttled, whereas lower or older options were fine.

I have a 3080Ti, tried DDU, reinstalling and disabling Reflex... had the best luck so far as I was able to play for 6 games in a row (before this was only 3), but at the 7th game it crashed again.
I even got an answer from Rivals support after sending them a bunch of zip files for debugging. They are aware of this issues but are not addressing it as a "verified anomaly" yet.

same, i have a crash every 3 games.
RTX 3080 here.

Just factory reset my PC a few days ago. Only have this game installed, Black ops 6, and FL Studio, Nvidia of course. That's it.

I can play about 2-4 games, then BOOM. Instant crash, can't rejoin fast enough due to shaders loading, so then I get a violation for "leaving mid game", as my place has already been filled.

Sometimes, I can't even get into one game without an instant crash. It claims to be from my "GPU", but we all know that's not the case after reading this thread with everyone's specs, i'm seeing people with builds wayyyyyyy superior and out of my league than mine, still facing this issue.

Sadly, I will have to give up playing this game until a clear resolution comes into place due to fear of being banned for leaving way too many matches.

I'll leave my specs below if this helps the process along:

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor 3.70 GHz
64.0 GB RAM

Me and my son has the same issue, the game crashes about 1 out of 3 games and it is getting very annoying. We both have fairly high end PCs with the latest Nvidia drivers.

They really should iron this kind of ♥♥♥♥ out.
God of War also still freezes after 1-2 hours. It is almost worth a court case this kind of bs.
There should be some law that states that a product should be fundamentally working, not fundamentally broken.

Yeah, it was my mistake for undervolting too much. Too much undervolting can cause system crashes when the CPU needs more power to do what it needs to do. My old setting was -0.065v which never had issues, but I got greedy and bumped it to -0.075v. Hopefully found my sweet spot. If you want to know more about undervolting I can post a link for ya from Reddit.

I have no stability issues and ran the Intel Diagnostic Tool (PASSED all tests) and Cinebench tests already and updated my BIOS months ago. This game just required more juice than any game I played so far and I was too aggressive on my undervolts for UE5 games. But it's fine now, ran numerous tests all day. Zero crashing. Wohoo!

I'm guessing a lot of intel 13/14 people have undervolted since learning about intel 13/14 voltage issues so I wanted to point it out in case, because I did get 2 different errors caused by it. Even my buddy who has an Intel 12 and 3060 is crashing with stock settings on, so yea, game issue, I know. I see AMD, Nvidia, and Intel people equally suffering here. Sucks.
Yeah the game definitely has issues.

The weird thing about instability with the 13th and 14th gen parts is that the CPUs become more power hungry the more degraded they are.

Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource. Make sure your video card has the minimum required memory, try lowering the resolution and/or closing other applications that are running. Exiting..
