Updated drivers, lowered settings and set FPS cap as well. Still getting heavy crashes. It’s gone to about one crash every 2-3 games. That’s with debug mode on. I’m at a loss. Maybe DDU since I just chucked the GPU into a new system. But aside from that even temps have been fine. It’s gotta be a severe backend memory leak due to UE5 optimization. Nothing else makes sense. Glad to know I’m not alone but man it’s a bummer. My other buddies have zero issues on older rigs.
I even got an answer from Rivals support after sending them a bunch of zip files for debugging. They are aware of this issues but are not addressing it as a "verified anomaly" yet.
RTX 3080 here.
I can play about 2-4 games, then BOOM. Instant crash, can't rejoin fast enough due to shaders loading, so then I get a violation for "leaving mid game", as my place has already been filled.
Sometimes, I can't even get into one game without an instant crash. It claims to be from my "GPU", but we all know that's not the case after reading this thread with everyone's specs, i'm seeing people with builds wayyyyyyy superior and out of my league than mine, still facing this issue.
Sadly, I will have to give up playing this game until a clear resolution comes into place due to fear of being banned for leaving way too many matches.
I'll leave my specs below if this helps the process along:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor 3.70 GHz
64.0 GB RAM
God of War also still freezes after 1-2 hours. It is almost worth a court case this kind of bs.
There should be some law that states that a product should be fundamentally working, not fundamentally broken.
The weird thing about instability with the 13th and 14th gen parts is that the CPUs become more power hungry the more degraded they are.
