sadly one difference here is you can buy the currency for the battlepass :L
you can also buy premium currency that is solely used to buy the other 2 currencies, and only one challenge ive seen so far to get you units, the skin currency.
also you cant get things seperately for the most part, like i want emotes but i cant just get those alone, i need the WHOLE set :L
not to mention pricing of packs of premium currency is the usual slop with it going from 20 (when you might need 25-30) dollars up to 50.
long 3 weeks
Overall I think it's fine, and the devs just announced any extra purple currency can be converted to blue currency if you bought the BP and have unlocked all of the items in it.
Gold: you buy it for real world money and a little bit from the Battlepass. You buy other currencies with it at 1:1 ratio.
Purple: you get it for doing daily missions. You spend it to unlock stuff in the Battlepass.
Blue: you get it from the Battlepass and achievements. You spend it to buy premium skins (and other cosmetics when they are released) in the store.
It's kinda like paying for a pre-order of vaporware
