Yeah I just did that multiple times, and literally nothing showed up. (With the hidden files showing.) Yes, this game uses an anti-cheat, but it's clearly not the same as Naraka.

Steam API is also a Kernel-level DRM. Don`t see you guys having problem with that. Thank God for cool high seas folk who remove it from games when they Re-Pack them outside of Steam.

Its not like they can't lie, I definitely would not trust the self disclosures fully, SteamDB file tracking and PCGW will likely be more accurate if the devs are being dishonest.

Naraka Bladepoint doesn't show on the steam store page "Uses Kernel Level Anti-Cheat" which is a big lie, same publisher NetEase they are clearly breaking Steam TOS. just look up all the negative reviews are because of the Chinese kernel running 24/7.

Oh obviously, but comparatively to every other company of their size, Valve is the only one who at least doesn't go full mask off evil like everyone else decided to. They'd much rather devs use only their tech than all this third party crap if it was up to them. It can be argued letting these games on Steam does more harm then good but also gives Valve immense power to at least try and push the industry in a better direction like pushing games to work on linux (and with that comes less DRM/AC/launchers/accounts/other crap), its something GOG is just not able to do.

Why there is no info in EULA or on store page? This is not fair, I check games before I install to make sure I don't get any nasty stuff.

Theres an anticheat_popup.exe in the files and it doesn't run on linux, so it definitely does have something, likely kernel mode, don't know which one tho.
