Are cosmetics too expensive?
What do you think about the store?

The way I see it, most skins/bundles cost the equivalent of around €16 - €26, some a bit more expensive, some a bit cheaper.
That's pretty expensive.

The problem I see is that there are many different heroes in this game.
In Fortnite, for example, you only play a single character. If you have skins and emotes, you can always use them with the character. So u don't need as many skins or emotes.
In a hero shooter, however, you have 30+ characters, so you would have to buy at least one skin for each character if you don't want to run around with a no-skin.
At an average of 20€ per skin, that would already be 600€.

Of course, skins aren't essential, they're just a cosmetic bonus. But I love it when players stand out from each other individually and the more expensive it is, the fewer players run around with lots of different skins and the less you can customize your experience yourself.
I think that's a little sad.

But what do you think? Do you think the store is good in general? And what do you think of the prices?

The prices are about the same as similar games. The good thing about this game is that most of the skins seems to be purchaseable with a currency you can get for free. You also bring up wanting a skin for each character, but there's a big chance you're not gonna play every character, most people have a main or two they get skins for.

The right price for anything is whatever the audience is willing to pay. If - say, 80% of the audience is willing to pay $30 for a skin and the remaining 20% complain it's too much, hate to break it = but the price tag sticks. It's not great, but that's just how market works.

Oh, that's good to know!
Now the question is how long you have to play to be able to afford a skin.. but at least it's possible, that's good.

Hmm, but you should have about 6 Mains in a Hero Shooter, 2 for each class so that you are versatile. But I understand what you mean

Unfortunately you're right, that's why the prices for cosmetics got higher over the years, little by little. Because people became more and more willing to pay 1-2 euros more and more over time

To be honest, this game isn't the worst out there when it comes to monetization. The good parts are:
-- No gatcha, no random "no idea what you get for your money".
-- No FOMO - if you get a BP, you can finish it whenever
-- Nothing but cosmetics is monetized. So no "omg this new OP hero needs to be unlocked"

On top of that, since these all are Marvel heroes - well, overwhelming majority of them just have to look good in their default costumes. They're comic heroes after all. I could even go as far as to claim that some paid costumes are just worse or even way worse than the default free ones.

Honestly, it could be worse but i do think it's a bit too expensive, especially where in europe, around 30 euros for a skin isn't cheap. Atleast they're not too scummy especially with the permanent battle pass, but there are skins i really want and if i don't want to spend my money on them, it'll take multiple seasons to get them for free, wich truly sucks, especially since most of them are currently lower priced than their full price wich won't last long.

I've already spent $36 on the game. Bought the Magneto Classic skin, Wolverine skin and the battlepass. I don't regret it and I feel everything was fairly priced. Only thing I wish is they had better skins on release. 85% of them are utter garbage.
