Performance on AMD is, trash?

This is the first time I've ever played a game that drops below 50 FPS, even on the lowest settings.
I’m using a 6700XT and a Ryzen 5 5600X, so what’s going on with this game? I can run Overwatch at 500 FPS and Valorant at 800 FPS, but here I can’t even get close to 100 FPS—let alone the 144 FPS I need for smooth gameplay.

Does anyone have any tips? How is this even possible? It feels like games made by small indie teams with fewer resources run better than this. The gameplay looks fun, but at 50 FPS, it’s just not enjoyable.

Dont know whats the problem with buying stuff thats not overpriced like Nvidia & Intel. This is the only game with this problem, so i wouldnt say AMD is the problem here?!

I have a bad GPU for today's standards, it was mid tier even 5 years ago, and it runs all my other games just fine with no problems, never had this much optimization issues even with Cyberpunk which barely had any for me

Fr, Cyberpunk runs with 160FPS on Mid settings on my system...

I have the a 5 5600 + 6700xt and I can run marvel rivals 100+ FPS. Maybe try updating chipset, graphics card and motherboard drivers.

my wooden pc with ryzen 5 2000 and rx580 can get 70-100 easily (even in chaos) with lowest setting

They all talk BS, have a 3070ti Evga x Ryzen 5 5600x , having the same issues as you the game is just very poorly optimized

i run on full amd 7900 xt it runs fine but game has issues with optimization its same with nvidia systems.

The game is just poorly optimized much like every other UE5 game nowadays. The engine is just horrible, this game is not that visually impressive and yet it demands so much of a system. Games from last generation look better than this and can run at 1/3rd of the requirements in terms of TF and power draw.
Take a look at some AMD specific control panel configs people have done and see if they work for you.

Slightly better AMD setup here; runs "normal" comparable to other UE5 titles for me ... which just means what others have already stated: adjusting for performance is a "beach" in these games.

For all of you that don't know, Unreal Engine 5 is a hardware needy engine meaning; you need the newest high end system to run the graphics settings at medium or above! I have the Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core, AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU, Nextorage 2TB NVME, and I had to turn down the graphics settings to stop the GPU crashes and other software crashes that where happening while playing. Since I turned it down, I haven't had a single issue!

My 7900xtx runs the game like the second best GPU it is. No crashes.
