Mouse and Controller annoying pop up + Sound

"I've been playing Overwatch for years and have always used a combination of mouse and controller for movement and aiming. Marvel Rivals supports playing with both, but there's an annoying pop-up that appears every time you try to move, accompanied by a terrible sound.

Does anyone know how to disable the sound or remove the pop-up? I can tolerate the pop-up if necessary, but the sound is unbearable and needs to be dealt with."

I get it we are probably like 0.0001% of users, but this is still an issue please fix this.

Wow, I thought I was the only one. I play most of my PC games this way, including League of Legends. As to your question, I could not find a way to stop that sound from happening. What I want to know is, is there any way to disable the game from picking up my controller so I can remap buttons to a thrid-party application like JoyToKey? I disable Steam input, but that keeps the game even from registering my controller buttons as keyboard keys.

I have some nerve damage in my wrist that I cant use keyboard it hurts, and I use the joy stick only on the controller please if you find a way to stop that flickering madness let me know I hope they will add the force keyboard and mouse setting like overwatch has to stop it from happening. the sound is unbearable

Bumping this, it's how I play Overwatch. Controller in left hand for movement and some abilities, aim with the mouse. I cannot do WASD nonsense and I don't fully want to play with a controller because I hate trying to aim with thumbsticks.

Following. I use a steam controller in left hand and mouse with other hand for 99% of all my games. Rivals wont recognize my default steam controller layout where I have it set as keyboard functions to avoid Controller conflicts. Since it didnt recognize any keystrokes with the controller I changed the setting to use it as a controller and it worked great EXCEPT for that annoying beep and "switching input" display that pops up every time I move and aim at the same time.t

i think the worse part is it wont let me rebind keyboard/ mouse controls says there changed but then it chances nothing (tho the wheel on the mouse for my ultimate and it still pings despite having no ping button)

I hope they fix this, it's how I play ow2, so I hope they disable the popup and noise haha

Yes i would like to chime in and bump this as well.. big fan of the lefty controller righty mouse technique but that noise is killing me.. please disable the sound devs!!

Same, looking for a fix or work around for this as well. I play overwatch the same way with controller and mouse. Overwatch has a setting to force M&K inputs to keep the inputs from bouncing back and forth.

Yeah, if you try using gyro to mouse option in steam you get this annoying flickering between input modes and the sound as well. Hopefully they put out a fix for this.

I'm also in the same boat. I tried to use Joy2Key and disabled steam input but the game actively forces the controller to still be the default input accepted so I keep getting the switching. I have the same problem with my left hand hurting from carpal tunnel and being on the keyboard holding down wasd for too long. OW does this perfectly, it lets you use both and force the UI to only show KB controls to avoid switching. Please just let us do this with Steam Input, why is the game so hellbent on forcing people to play one way or the other?

I hope they address this as well, it makes hero shooters so much easier for me to play
