Good, should be an instant ban. Stop hacking :)

i only have laptops in the house, and a server with my gpu in. Windows virtual machine is my gaming machine, played on my tvs and laptops. It is frustrating with these competitive shooter games they limit virtual machines, at least i got fortnite working to play with my kids. POE2 might be taking up my time instead.

No, it's for people that do not want to yolo their host machine with the data they care about through installing a dubious kernel-level "anti-cheat" that lets all kinds of cheaters in anyways.

OP: this thing seems to be working on Proton, so there's that. Probably will need some fiddling, but it seems to be doable to flip a bird to that kernel-level nonsense it requires.

I don't even use a virtual machine and I'm getting this pop up? Not sure if it's detecting my anti-virus or something, but this is very confusing and beyond a dumb way to stop cheaters from getting in

We have consoles for that.

You realize millions of people use services like Shadow of because we can’t afford or store a nice gaming setup? It’s not cheating, its literally the future of gaming..

I agree, companies would love to prevent us from owning our computers and games and forcing us to only rent them so they can drive up the prices like Netflix did.

But attempts to do that so far have failed. Geforce Now isn't that popular and Google Stadia flat out died. Xbox Game Pass is the only successful winner in the field and only because you don't need to use its streaming service at all. One day, though, one day...

sadly cannot play the game on my pottato PC and not on my SHADOW STREAMING SERVICE ... wow. ty
