And it's even funnier, cause in solo queue vs with friends, it only seemed to get worse when solo.
There HAS to be a performance update or somethin put out, cause this is bad.

yes, I'm in all 3 NA servers
makes no sense why the lag spikes are 100% random

My game has been completely unplayable from the lag, my ping spikes constantly for seemly no reason and my game gets stuck on 99% in most of my matches. And when I do finally load in I teleport around and can't even tell whats happening

I'm getting similar lag however its weird. Every other player is fine but only my character will lag out like I have a crazy ping. Run their network diagnostic and it keeps telling me my ping is fine. Frustrating as its making the game unplayable.

I'm also getting lag so bad that I haven't been able to play and when I do, it's just me teleporting around with my actions not being registered. When I do a network test in-game, it shows I have a "good connection" and a ping of 50 ms while playing on the closest NA server. However, I'm getting a red network icon on my screen most of the time regardless. Never had this issue in Overwatch, generally ping is 30 ms there.

Exactly the same for me. it seems like it's very common leading me to belive that there may be a problem with the game.

I have experienced zero lag in this game. Do you have the network stats on your screen at all times so you can check? My gameplay has been buttery smooth and all of my shots land where I aim them.

I also get zero lag, but my friend gets terrible lag for hours when we play. We are in the same city and play off the same servers too.

That could possibly be the issue then. I'm on the east coast and so, I only have Northern Virginia and Dallas selected, as my ping is crap on the Oregon server. Unless you live in the dead center of the US, you're probably getting high ping on one of the 3 servers.

I get sudden frame drops when there is a lot going on at once. I go from 60fps to 5-15fps between the two. Any update on this?

ANOTHER POSSIBLE FIX
for others that worked for me. I too was having terrible stuttering every few seconds and tried pretty much everything listed by other people in discussions- to no avail. Then I thought about how it could be a LACK OF WIDESCREEN SUPPORT issue. Let me tell you, when I switched from 21:9 to 16:9, there was not a single issue with stuttering or fps drops, even running on Ultra graphics. I figured this was worth sharing if this even helps one other person who didn't consider that. It immediately fixed my issue.

I am having really bad problems. Any time I do a check on the Diag setting I get at worse like 120-130 ping which is something I am used to and occasionally get.
But in game it is a 50/50 if I am gonna be able to play properly or have double red connection warning and everyone in the game just walks in a straight line almost constantly.
I play perfectly fine on almost every other game I play but for some reason this one absolutely cannot be played and give me a fun time every match.
It wouldn't be a problem if it was just minor lag where I occasionally missed or rubberbanded back a little since I am used to that, this is I am getting like 1% of the packets I should levels of horrible.

Same here. Game started playable framerate for me, then as time went on became a literal slide show.
Unplayable.
But I enjoyed it so far.
Dunno if it's a memory leak or what.
