Unfortunately the matchmaking is rigged, I got the exactly 50% wr, and four friends of mine also have 50% forced winrate. All the competitive matches are unbalanced, it odes not matter if you win or lose.
They want to make you think that you're improving so that you keep playing the game. The same thing happens to all f2p competitive games nowadays. Valorant does exactly the same.
It's a business, the game is free so they want to hook you and make you spend money in the game in the long run
Nice to see someone else gets it!

Solo queuing is generally seen as purposely handicaping yourself if your intent is to win matches. No match maker will ever be reliable enough to give you genuinely good teammates regularly. You're fooling yourself if you think it can read your mind and be like "oh, these are the types of players he generally wants." lol.
It's like... that's how SBMM works? If you are good, you will fight better and better players until you are playing against players as good as you or better. And then yeah, you're going to lose. Eventually it will gravitate to a level where you should be fighting people who are, on average, equally good.
The only people who get much higher than 50% winrate are the best in the world, because they system literally doesn't have anyone better to put them up against.
I think this game just has a light sbmm, not to aggressive i've gone on long winstreaks, usually when we lose its cause the healer doesn't heal and is playing as duelist the whole game.
And if you go back to solo queue later, you'll suddenly get much worse because you don't have the teamwork advantage, and then you'll lose more than 50% of your games until your MMR goes back to normal.
Xdefiant was the only recent shooter that didn't have any of this manipulative crap and players left in droves because they weren't handed wins but instead were forced to improve and now that game is shutting down, sad reality
This game has the Engagement Optimized Match Making bs like typical mobile MOBA game
I usually tank my expected loss games in unranked games
The pattern is you need to tank 3 to 9 games depending on your account its account specific so I'd suggest players to go and test your account specific spree Mobile MOBA or multiplayer games have this type of system
Mine is every 3-5 games my friends are every 4-6 games so its going to be different for everyone account
These expected loss games have the worst balance combo ever
Teammates that have worse aim %, damage, heal, tank, push, skill etc than enemies these teammates shouldn't que with me at all
I avoid and minimise the force 50% matchmaking by tanking upcoming expected loss games in unranked and playing in off time time such as midnight and early morning this gives me enough +10-20% edge over 50% from my own skill
The only saving grace is that this game is fun outside the forced 50% matchmaking unlike overwatch which is not fun and nerfed to ground
and yes this applies to quickplay, every game ever has MMR in quickplay too, your mileage may vary on how you feel about it, but there is no 100% random no MMR mode to play besides maybe arcade
you know that you not belong there and its rigged if you have reliably basicly twice the stats of your random mates
happens too often..
There probably is a large segment of the population that only has fun when they win, which is unfortunate. I don't care if I win or lose, because you lose and still personally have had a pretty good match. Close, hard fought games are the most enjoyable. Games wherein your team doesn't group up or even try to work together, use cover or focus targets/pick off the low hp enemies ever are really frustrating as they are just respawn simulators. You can't swap or change your tactics to make up for 3-5 people that are functionally worse than bots.
