NVIDIA APP -> Graphics -> Global Settings -> Shader Cache Size: Disabled
Flash forward to today, the first time I launch the game and play for about five minutes my pc black screens, and restarts. I have spend a long time today trying newer and older drivers, disabling overlays, changing install locations, verifying game files, etc. and I have yet to find a fix.
This must be an error with the game for this to be the case. curious if anyone has had any luck with finding a fix. Hopefully it gets fixed soon so we can actually play :(
Tried this and unfortunately did not work
I noticed this as well , Shaders compile till 74% and instantly starts the game , and I had 3 freezes so far , but I was able to alt tab and press windows keys to force my pc to sign out to get out of that frozen screen . I know this is not a solution , I was thinking it might be driver issue from my end .
Can you please provide your pc specs?

I tried doing it on my Radeon VII system via a registry hack since AMD removed the shader cache management from their Adrenaline software. It didn't help that I could tell. Clearing shader cache (which is still available in Adrenaline) didn't help either.
Best results I've gotten so far were to step down to 1080p, set all settings to low, and lock framerate at 60 fps (and disable upscalars like FSR). It still crashes though, especially when I try to play Thor.
Tried this, also tried setting it to Unlimited, sadly didn't work for me, also tried using:
"Memory Cleaner" by Koshy John, but that didn't work either. Helped someone in another thread though, so worth a try - but this solves CPU memory leaks and Marvel Rivals crash/freeze seems to be more GPU related.
I'm still convinced its some sort of a cache or leak though, only thing that makes sense as to why I can run it for a few moments regardless of graphic settings at flawless FPS
Yes - sorry about the ... super long delay ;\ I had him validate the files, clear steam cache, update his nvidia drivers via nvidia app then reboot pc. He is on win 10, running a 20xx, I believe SDD.
He also thought it was not going to work lol
gonna try this later
