How does Rocket's revive work?

i've been revived by it before, but most of the time i don't notice cause i'm so used to just dying and then get killed again

ok so you place it some where safe first
then the first person to die gets revived :) it took me a second to figure it out too. it also spawn items out of it while its activated untill someone dies and revives

Thank you. It does seem like maybe they need to be alive with it already active to be eligible. But I'm not 100% sure.

Does anyone know how Rockets ultimate works? I can't tell if it actually does anything?

Yes, it's an aura that leashes any team mate close enough, anyone connected gets a damage buff. I melted folks while in range.

The first person in its AoE who dies gets revived.

Rocekt's Ult is like Orisa's old ult, Super Charger. It's a device that gives everyone dmg boost.

But you need to place it down. It's not insta-place. So you can possibly get killed after activating it but before placing it down.
