Is there anyone that can tell us how to solve the issue? I tried verifying the games files in the properties menu and it still wouldnt launch, I'd like someone that has experience with this to tell me in detail how to sort this thing out so I can get to enjoy the game

How old is your hardware/graphic card ?
I hoped I would try it on low settings I guess I won't if the game don't even launch with that message.

The game is defaulting on running on your integrated graphics. You need to go into Windows graphics settings and make sure the game uses GPU instead of iGPU.

GPU is going to be the high performance setting, power save setting means integrated graphics.

If you only have integrated graphics and no graphics card, you can't play this and many other games which require an actual graphics card.

Make sure that your monitor cable is connected to a port on your graphics card, and not in any motherboard ports. You also need NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 / AMD RX 580 / Intel Arc A380 or newer graphics card for the game.
