ofc its not CFG, but it's a temporal fix while they actually address the issue, it's been over a week, and no patch yet
For anyone who has CPU issues, follow this guide but switch the exe name with ''Marvel-Win64-Shipping.exe''
usually you can just manually switch task priority to high in task manager, but EAC prevents this so you have to edit REGEDIT to force swap priority to high. Also you don't need to follow the first 7 steps. Just have the game closed and that's good enough. Just the second half of the guide works.
Thanks so much man this was the only thing that fixed it for me, literally tried every single other fix before seeing yours
After turning to off default Control Flow Guard it's like all the issue magically gone away, and loading into new match characters pop up 1 second which is a lot better not seeing my character at all.
Thanks for posting this, and wish this bug was fixed.
Now? My game is a full on slideshow. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling and doing the CFG thing again, plus disabling the hardware accelerating gpu, but to no avail.
I dunno what else I can do.
Yeah it feels like as they are rapidly updating the game performance is slowly taking hits. Would be really nice if they did a performance pass, there is no reason the game should run in this state on PC.
I will say, both times that it's gone to crap, it's because I've had a small windows update.
I showed my friend who knows way more about PCs than me, and he said there's no reason why they would've messed with my game, and I believe him, but it seems more than a coincidence when the game ran poorly right after said updates.
