Specially when a Dr. Strange is on match and uses portal (the tech behind this make the game performance go crazy).
I have a RTX 4070 and medium graphics is fine. Since you have a RTX 3060, maybe you'll need to wait for an update with a fix on performance to play it smoothly.
Turning V-Sync off seemed to help me a bit but still investigating
-Verifying game cache
-Turning OFF Control Flow Guard
-Updating to latest graphic drivers
-Using the auto graphics settings, choosing Lowest, and restarting the game
-Using TAAU as upscaling
-Choosing full screen
this is probably a very specific setting that if turned on, is causing the dips...
Interesting what GPU do you have? For Nvidia I am always recommended to use DLSS wondering why pick TAAU over it.
Also did you turn off Control Flow Guard for just this game?
i have rtx 3060, but i read somewhere that UE5 games need extra work to correctly implement upscalling, that this game obviously don't have, TAAU it's a simpler form of upscaling than dlss or fsr
yeah i only turn it off for this game only.
it also might not be the solution, but after doing all that was when i got the solution, but im not going to try one by one of course
Thanks I got the game into a decent state now but if I encounter problems again I'll give TAAU a shot.
