Extreme Stuttering FIX
anyone else experiencing extreme stuttering like every 4 seconds? i can run 60fps, it will sometimes dip.
doesn't matter if everything is on low, still get the fps drops spike
I'm on i5-12600k rtx 3060 32gb ram
pls help

UPDATE:
I FIXED IT, FOR ANYONE WHO HAS THE SAME PROBLEM THIS IS WHAT I DID

-Turning OFF Control Flow Guard
-Updating to latest graphic drivers
-Using the auto graphics settings, choosing Lowest, and restarting the game
-Verifying game cache
-Using TAAU as upscaling
-Choosing full screen

this is probably a very specific setting that if turned on, is causing the dips...

UPDATE 2:
after many tests and tries, it is actually CFG that's causing the game to stutter, the game in ultra with CFG off, runs with no stutter

Thx to SycloneDx for this alt solution:
Windows settings > graphics settings > disable hardware accelerated GPU scheduling.

I had to lower my details to low, high is unplayable.

Try using upscaling like FSR, and make sure you hit apply

You may try to disable Control Flow Guard in Exploit protection of win10/11 but make sure it's only disabled for this game

I dont think this is my pc can't handle issue? I'm well over the recommends specs, and I already tried putting everything to low, and still get the same issue, 60fps but then it will drop to 0 for a second.

Game is not perfectly optimized. I can run new games on ultra super smooth. But this game is stuttering a lot on ultra and high for me.

Specially when a Dr. Strange is on match and uses portal (the tech behind this make the game performance go crazy).

I have a RTX 4070 and medium graphics is fine. Since you have a RTX 3060, maybe you'll need to wait for an update with a fix on performance to play it smoothly.

Seeing the same, game needs an optimization pass for sure.

Turning V-Sync off seemed to help me a bit but still investigating

Using 4090 and 13900K experiencing the same extreme stutters and performance issues regardless of settings, using the latest driver from this morning.

damn this really sucks cuz the game is honestly fun, played 1 stuttery match and it was fun regardless
This game is terribly optimised even for the minimum requirements they need to fix this ASAP this game is so fun

Interesting what GPU do you have? For Nvidia I am always recommended to use DLSS wondering why pick TAAU over it.

Also did you turn off Control Flow Guard for just this game?

Update: my problem was caused by my mouse which was set to 8000hz polling rate. Changing to 4000hz polling rate (or lower) seems to fix the issue. If you're experiencing these stutters and have a high polling rate mouse, try lowering it and see if it fixes your stutters.

i have rtx 3060, but i read somewhere that UE5 games need extra work to correctly implement upscalling, that this game obviously don't have, TAAU it's a simpler form of upscaling than dlss or fsr

yeah i only turn it off for this game only.

it also might not be the solution, but after doing all that was when i got the solution, but im not going to try one by one of course

Thanks I got the game into a decent state now but if I encounter problems again I'll give TAAU a shot.
