Marvel Rivals on Steam Deck?
Anyone have any luck getting Marvel Rivals to run on Steam Deck? I thought it was supposed to support the deck on launch, but so far nothing has worked. I even tried using Proton Experimental and Proton GE to see if that would get the game to launch. No luck.

Using Linux, Ubuntu 22, no hope. Crashes after clicking launch from the launcher. Tried Experimental, Hotfix, and 9.

Palworld and Lethal Company both work fine on Experimental.

Also using Ubuntu 22, I receive errors when opening the game but can ignore them just fine. Game also black screens before and after matches which is something I've been told can be caused by the game not being saved the the C: drive as well.

Used Proton on several different versions and black screening is slightly reduced when using experimental. GPU settings turned down also reduced black screening though did not completely reduce it.

You should have expected that at "Linux"

Yes, this is a Linux thread. What did YOU expect when clicking a thread about Steam Deck, a Linux distro.

Stop it. Get some help.
I launch the game with latest Proton GE and everything works, never had a single crash in 60+ hours. Very playable with gyro, I rank up fast by playing Punisher and Winter Soldier and get lots of mvp. Gaphics are in medium, some things on low, in order to keep steady stable fps.

Hey, how did you set up the gyro in the game?

Not worth it IMO. The performance trade off is too much for a competitive game.

What if people dont care about being "competitive". They can just have fun with bots or whatever. Some want to play portable and simply dont care about being "competitive", but thanks for answering something completely unrelated to OPs question.
