Disconnected from Match

Everytime I enter a match, I get disconnected either when it finishes loading or when its about to start. It says my internet connection is the problem but I literally have not had this type of problem or lag in any other game. Anybody else experiencing this?

Same here, and when I try to reconnect it automatically gives my slot to someone else and then I'M the one who's penalized for it. Verified my game files, gonna try again later.

The worst thing about it is that it gives me timeout penalties as if it is my own fault. First it was 5 minutes and now its 15 minutes, come on.

This has been happening on harddrive, but I hear SSD works better. Though I can't play with my friends, just sit around and get 5 minute penalty

I have a ssd. So I'm not sure that's it. My friend mentioned it could be something with my firewall which sounds plausible but I'm running windows defender and so is he so I'm not 100% sure that's it.

I installed it on SSD, and I noticed the loading problem. Even played an AI match with invisible characters until it load them. It is either bad optimization or the anticheat software.

same here.. got already penalties of 1 hour everytime I try. Every game I try to join keeps disconnecting.....

Are there any fixes? looks like file verification doesn't do anything but I didn't try it.

My internet is very good and ive never been disconnected from any other game due to network issues

So I found a fix which is not ideal but maybe it will help you figure out the root issue.

If you use a VPN, the issue is fixed. Proton VPN is free but its not great. If you have a paid VPN then you should use that and your ping wont be bad. Using Proton free version there is one free server in the US, i doubt the ping will be any good but at least you cna play the game until this is fixed.

This being the fix leads me to think the issue is firewall related.. not sure whats being blocked where.
