Bot lobbies are a bit soul crushing

Apparently, losing 2 games in a row can put you into a bot lobby in QP. Knowing this is honestly heartbreaking, now I will never be sure if I'm against real players or not, at least if I have a rough couple of games for one reason or another. When the games feel ridiculously easy, it's almost certainly a bot lobby at that point, in which case, it just makes me want to stay in spawn and not bother, personally. I play it out for the others, but the fact that this is a thing is, in my opinion, not very good.

The playerbase is more than large enough to find players rather than bots, in fact I find that bot lobbies take longer to find than normal lobbies. Playing against AI is just boring and doesn't help me improve at all, practicing against real players does, and going against bots, if anything, makes me more rusty due to having to try much less hard.

I just hope the bot lobbies, at the very least, change to every 5 losses, or something more than just every 2.

I don't think this is the solution. Not everyone wants to play ranked all the time, or risk losing their rank if they don't feel like they've gotten enough practice in QP beforehand. Ranked can be a stressful experience, especially if you care at all about your rank and have anxiety.

Play enough ranked to get at least a little bit of rank, like even being just Silver 1 you should see less bot lobbies.

Also happens after wins, it isn't only after losses.

That may or may not have been a recent change.

Another important thing to note - since they're being very shady and deceptive about the existence of bots in quickplay, there's no telling what else they're doing to the game hoping no one will notice which includes adding bots to competitive as well.

So just because bots weren't in ranked in the past doesn't mean it's going to stay that way and they may already now exist in ranked. Same way it was once believed that the bots only appear after losses when they're actually appearing after wins as well.

Yeah we all said that in many post before. Have a way to turn it off or on and get rid of the Time ban in QP. Many like me have stop playing. Waste of time for everyone involved.

honestly i've just accepted how garbage QP is right now and just moved on to ranked, not caring if I throw or not. If you're not in a bot lobby you're thrown against a 3-5 stack of Diamonds/GMs who are on a losing streak in ranked and decided to go stomp QP as their mains to "cool off". It's just better to have actual matchmaking figure out what matches are fun for you and not be obsessed with climbing.

Gotta understand that hidden MMR is a thing in QP. If you raise your real MMR then your hidden MMR will rise too. It will improve QP.

wait till you play ranked and continuously get teamed with people who dont kill walls/squids/ahnks/clones or my favorite......4 supports. At least in QP you dont rank down because your team doesnt have a braincell to share between them. Thats sould crushing.

Bot matches are like 5 minutes tops. Its fun stomping them and you get proficiency. People are such drama queens. BOTS RUINED MY LIFE AHHHHHHH

That's a lie. I'm in Gold and this morning the matchmaking system threw me against a whole team of bots. Why? Because yesterday I did alt+f4 after getting into 2 games in a row with premades of pro people and useless people on my team. The AI ​​that runs the matchmaking is easy to manipulate, do alt+f4 when it puts you in totally unfair situations and the next competitive match will put you with people of your level. That's how I got out of Silver, before I started leaving the game because of the nonsense of the matchmaking I was stuck.

if you press tab while in the loading screen and all your enemies are lvl 2s, 6,s and 9s then you know you're in a bot match.

I lose a lot of qp matches but I barely see any bots.

If you can't spot the difference between a player controlling the hero and bots you have a big problem.
