Are people throwing in comp matches on purpose?

the last 10 or so matches that I have solo queued for, I have only won 2. Sounds like a skill issue, until you realize I was SVP on every losing team. What is up with this matchmaking??? And why are people playing comp to learn characters and not take anything seriously?

I just got told I threw the match as 14-1 SVP being the only one playing the objective. People are insane and bad at the game.

Please take your perspective to quickplay or anything else and leave our ranked matches alone.
If you are playing ranked, you are doing it to rank up for better rewards. If you want to be casual do any other mode but ranked.

They do it because theres no other real way to actually learn and practice. QP is worthless for getting real experience without a pre-made team. Better to make an alt account and yolo queue into ranked to learn in an environment that will likely have proper team comps.

Competitive sports and games have been a fundamental part of human civilisation. People know that it is a game. But if you're going to play competitively against others in anything then it has to be taken to some degree of seriousness. To go into a competitive game and be not serious under the presumed idea that it's not important is actually the person lacking in perspective.

The purpose of a game is to be played... Imagine showing up to the game and then saying there is no point in playing the game because it's just a game. is a master class in idiocy.
