Yeah right, what kind of people go into a competitive game mode and take it seriously?
If you are playing ranked, you are doing it to rank up for better rewards. If you want to be casual do any other mode but ranked.
That's a real stupid take. You can say this about literally any sport or game.
And it'd be true, so what's your point?
It’s the take 100% of people should take on 100% of games. Get the cancer out of your head if you think that it’s stupid. Wake up!
I think that's projection..
Competitive sports and games have been a fundamental part of human civilisation. People know that it is a game. But if you're going to play competitively against others in anything then it has to be taken to some degree of seriousness. To go into a competitive game and be not serious under the presumed idea that it's not important is actually the person lacking in perspective.
The purpose of a game is to be played... Imagine showing up to the game and then saying there is no point in playing the game because it's just a game. is a master class in idiocy.
