Bot Matches?

I've played about 50 hrs in the game and something that's really starting to stand out .. is a number of matches.. say 3 of 10 seem to be bot matches.

Another team comes out but they walk into things .. like when im on moon night in these matches im coming out with usually no deaths and like 30+ elims!

They group up and rarely shoot the anks or make a move to avoid the ult!
Are others seeing this.. is the game giving people bot matches in QP to speed up wait times or something
Which doesn't make sense as you normally get a match in seconds.

This ♥♥♥♥ has to go....it makes me so angry to lose 1 game after a bot match to just get thrown right back into another bot match....my team picked 4 dps ....why am i punished for that?!?!

It's real, if you lose 2 or more matches in a row, chances are that you will be playing against bots:

you are damn right. I see the same. mathes 30/1 as MVP followed by matches 0/30. fighting ragdolls that follow you behind tha walls, and they all know the exact time you die and don´t even fake a misspunch, they all simply change the target at the exact same time. The replays are the backstab of the brand, the courtains fall as you see no man could headshot when there is a polygon hiding the head, AND THE BODY.

That's bad players. Bots actually break the ankhs as soon as they get hit by them. It encourages the player to place them more creatively, in practice modes.

Bad players will ignore them and wonder quietly why they died and never really make the connection.

Don't believe me? Go play a practice match yourself. Make sure it's on hard mode.

you can tell it's a bot match right away when you press tab to look at name plates. all of the opponents are lv. 5 and down with no custom name plates. That's when you know it's a bots match. Also Tracker lets you know too.

The Devs added bots in QP to keep players engaged after x amount of losses. Pretty sneaky if u ask me!

I disagree with you. I get 30 mins to play a day with 3 kids. When i do play i do QP so that i can play vs other humans have a good time and not worry to much if they bother me.

Now if I lose 2 games in a row...i HAVE TO....mandatory, can't skip it, cant avoid it, have to play bots my next game....10 mins wasted is a big deal. its 1/3 of my time.

If bots were ever added to ranked, it'd be 20-30 years down the road, when they're much better developed.

UT bots are still excellent opponents, and even quality teammates, but even those don't play anything like a human does. It'll need a lot of work.

But one day, it will happen.

(Also, Steam's player count only shows how many players have the game running at a given time. Steam can't possibly count how many players are actually in game, it doesn't do that on ANY title.)
