[SOLVED] RTX 3080 TI FPS DROP
Every single game my fps drop randomly from solid 165 fps to 20 fps which last for about 20 seconds.
It sometimes happens several times / game.

RTX 3080 TI / i5-12400f / 32 gb RAM

Has anyone found a fix yet?

It is not overheating (But behave as if) <-- in fact it was an OVERHEAT ISSUE of the CPU.
It is not bottleneck (Nothing hits 100%)
All drivers & system up to date
Low ping
Game is on NVMe (And I have 80+ GB free space)
I have no similar problem with any other games
I tried tweaking in game settings with no effect
Uninstalled/reinstalled + checked game cache file
Increased ram allocated
Nothing works.

I had the game crash bug before and then it stopped to be replaced by the FPS drop bug.
Praying for any advice or fixes...
Thanks a lot

Screenshot or breakdown of your graphic settings and display settings?

If it is tied to the same thing causing the crashes that are affecting so many people, you may not be able to do anything about it and just have to wait until it's fixed (if ever).

I have tried everything, turning on/off frame cap, dlss, nvidia reflex, low-mid-high settings, everything that has a button i have tried to change it and the issue remains.

If you meant non-game settings, I am unsure which info you want more specifically?
I play on a 2k 165hz monitor.

It might be the same, but it is highly confusing seeing people with lower-same-higher perf rig having the same problem. Like there is no pattern hardware related it seems which confusing me as hell.

there isnt any "fix" outside of simply beefing up your system. you need a better CPU, vRAM, and on board RAM in order to run their Botnet processes on your infected PC.

I am strongly confident the problem is not related to my rig, I run plenty ♥♥♥♥ of UE5 games no problemo.
Botnet wise, there is no way a botnet ♥♥♥♥♥ my 32 gb of ram? I see some people with 2080/16 gb of ram run it fine so why not me? It does not make any sense.

because there are many other factors that play into how a rig is able to handle load & compute tasks. and yes there is a Botnet + poor optimization of the game itself.

go build a rig optimized for threadripping with a good amount of vRAM, and Rivals will run fairly consistent. you need enough compute to handle all the bloat both IN-game, and outwardly due to backdoor processes.

My rig is superior to my friend on every single components and by quite a distance.
There is no "go build a super mega 10'000$ rig with enough VRAM" whatever.
He runs it on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2080. He has less VRAM, RAM, CPU power than I do. My computer compute twice more and twice as fast as he does. Why is he fine and I (and plenty of others apparently) am not? How is there a bloat if all my hardware is not at full capacity? The nasty chinese invisible botnet which my friend does not have it seems

i have the same issue with my legion laptop (5600h / rtx 3060 / 32gb ram), it's kinda cyclic, one or two times during a game (out of these big slowdowns it hits pretty steady 100+fps) . I did not had this issue with my desktop pc (5700x / 4070S / 32gb ram), although i left my home just before the update landed, so i only played on my laptop since its release. I'll see how it goes with my desktop in a week when i get back home.

yeah, you can keep reiterating the same slop all you want. im just the messenger here.

fact of the matter is that your friend's rig is more optimized to process all the bloat than yours... this can be due to a MULTITUDE of factors such as bottlenecks, other programs you have downloaded that may have unseen processes that dont work in your best interests, ect.

i never said you need a 1000000$ rig, bimbo... im saying go build a fresh PC optimized for ripping threads.. or as a matter of fact, go BUILD your friend's PC yourself lol.

Wishing you luck :)
It ran fine for me pre-update and went south post-update.

Clearly it's overheating or thermal throttling If it dips to 20

It did not happen before the update and I checked my temp during the dip (post-update), it remains okay...
Your processor is bottle necking your video card. I have the same video card with a 5800x and no issues.

It might be bc of a bug with ue5 or Nvidia who has been having issues but it's def throttling of some sort
