Can you set up private matches with bots?

I want to learn new characters, but I don't want to under-perform and let my teammates down. Is there a way I can make matches with only bots so that I can practice and build confidence before playing with real players?

You can try Practice vs A. I. mode. Don't worry about losing in qp too much though - it's not ranked and made for people to learn new chars. Just try your best and care about your teammates.
I usually try the abilities in practice range and then go straight to qp if I'm learning a new hero.

Join Practice Vs AI. You will have human teammates but its a pretty chill mode to experiment in. Also good way to get any sort of team up challenges done.
