Yes. Because if a healer couldn't outpace a single DPS's damage output regardless of damage type, then healers would be useless.
Don't focus a healer by yourself. Two DPS and a Tank should be more than enough to outpace them being healed. Even if you can't kill them, forcing them to retreat and disengage puts their team at a disadvantage.
It is a team game. Act as a team. It helps.
Half the damn team to kill a healer is psychotic
Yup. Take out the supports, and the "platform" falls. You still have healers, you still get your HP restored, they do not, they are on a one-way track to falling one by one.
I'm in agreeance with this. If it's taking half or more of the team to kill a single healer, then something is definitely wrong.
Half or more of the team teaming up to kill a single healer in approximately 0.5 seconds just to make sure the second healer can't keep the first alive, as the healing is effectively tripling their health?
The point is securing priority kills. Either you're an ambush hero who can burst down a healer before they or their friends can realize they're under attack, or you dedicate some more well rounded party members to kill the healer to deny the enemy that tactical benefit. Both have risks. Both can give rewards, and both are dependant on your team's comp, the enemy's team comp, or the skill of the individual members involved, both in co-ordination and individual merits.
You literally invalidated your first part by giving a giant "anything can happen" blanket statement afterward.
