You can handle a 15 minute ban, it'll be over before you know it
If not, you should be able to load back in. The only reason you can't is because of horrendous load times on your end, stopping you from getting back in.
The penalty is not unfair. Think from the perspective of someone is is playing, and has a leaver on their team now. They don't know your game crashed or have any idea why your gone. Now, they are short a person in a game where each additional body matters. Team fights are decided by who gets first pick half the time. It's typically GG's from the point you have a leaver. The cooldown is to give you a chance to fix ur system and hopefully not ruin someone else's time.
Anyways, try this
It is unfair because the game KNOWS you crashed, and how often it happens.
If it's not often, the game was the problem, so you shouldn't be penalized.
If you can send a report, you should be shielded from this.
Even if they can detect it, the game is still ruined. Average rejoin time is minutes and team down a player will have already lost a point. Just go GG next.
That should only be the case if it back to back after half a hour, because then you know your game is not working and should stop and find out why.
I understand that penalties are there to prevent people from intentionally disconnecting, but there should be a better system in place to account for crashes, like a grace period or automatic rejoin option. Has anyone else experienced this, or found a way to avoid getting hit with penalties when things crash unexpectedly?
Would love to hear if others have had similar issues and how they’ve dealt with it.
