Is Dr. (Doctor) Strange a "WOKE" doctor?

As a newcomer to Marvel and a recent fan, I was curious about Dr. Strange. Why is he called a doctor? Does he actually save lives, or does he hold one of those WOKE liberal arts PhDs? His magic doesn't seem too woke, but the cape and goatee are a little suspicious. I haven't seen any of his movies or read any comic books. I really enjoyed Deadpool and Wolverine and the Kraven movie. I didn't understand Morbius or Madame Web. Are Dr. Strange's movies worth watching? How WOKE are they?

Nah, he's a doctor, but his degree is in economics. That's why all of the occult symbols and things.
