Been watching Necros support only stream and...
he never gets throwers, disconnects, nothing. I log in after work any given day of the week, and I get ATLEAST one game with one of the above. Yesterday my very first game, not one, but two of my team mates disconnected at different points in the game. Very next game, I had a jeff OTP on my team who got mad someone banned Jeff so he just walked off the map until the game ended. Last game I played yesterday was such a bad stomp because three of my team mates were queued together were a combined total of like 1-35. Last game today was basically the same story, my team was so bad we couldn't even leave spawn when it was our turn on offense; there's no way it's organic that games like this happen consistently to me and others but not to the big streamers.

Made me think they somehow exempted Necros from the garbage called EOMM, and was called a conspiracy theorist by people here; but yesterday I read an interesting, popular post some of you might have seen on Reddit by a data scientist who explained the matchmaking system and he basically said all of the same thing, but of course no one is calling the 'data scientist' a conspiracy theorist. It was basically something like this:

"To some extent, yes. From the start, matchmaking places players in skill "buckets" based on their early performance in online play. The very best players, the top 10%, are good enough that they can solo carry and overcome stomps consistently. According to NetEase R&D, these players are most sensitive to churn, so matchmaking prioritizes finding fair games for them. Keep in mind, these players are often streamers, so from a PR standpoint it is best if these players are not complaining about unfair matchmaking on their platforms.

The other 90%? They're at the mercy of the algorithm."

https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelrivals/comments/1kgdgid/yes_the_matchmaking_is_rigged_and_its_fascinating/

Aka yea, he's getting rigged asf games and the rest of us are permastuck at 50% winrates thanks to forced losses from EOMM. Everyday I'm proven more and more right that this game's terrible matchmaking will be the death of this game, and I hope it is.

just enjoy the "competitive" game where nothing you do matters, you still lose despite playing a perfect game, or the games are so obviously one-sided in either direction no one learns anything from it and the losing side just tilts into oblivion.

Amazing advice.

Also it's always funny to me when people who are too cool to supposedly not care take the time out of their day to make it clear that they "don't care"

He probably just never gets bad players because he's very high rank. When I get games with like GM-level players, bad players are very rare and the team comps usually make sense.

My peak on S0 was Platinum, then I managed to reach Diamond, GM, Celestial, and my peak on Season 1 was Eternity, this season I'll achieve One Above All in no time. Genuine skill issue my gee. EOMM is an illusion and an excuse to all your losses.

o yeah and explain to me how its a skill issue when my team mates disconnect, genuinely throw or are so bad I cant even get out of the spawn door, and send me a replay of you magically carrying games like that and ill just admit i suck too bad to get out of diamond

For those who didn't want necros stream today, he got cooked. Started at gm2 and deranked almost to diamond 1...... hes like 2 points into gm 3.....

The EOMM was getting him too. Your right though he didn't have flat out leavers though......, or people purposely throwing the game on him. he lost like 37 games today..... and only won 32 - 46% winrate.

His aim was simply better than every player in diamond which is why he ranked up.

This isn't true at all he had bad teammates. EOMM was getting him too he was complaining about it all stream when he was losing. He was upset at his support teammates and brainless dps teammates that were actively losing the game for him.

This isn't just for you, but some people really underplay how bad the mm system is.

Well he's also a toxic jerk, honestly he's probably the bad teammate. Nevertheless, the scope of what a bad teammate represents at those ranks vs the low ranks is totally different.

You don't climb the ranks through skill but through time-served and the capricious nature of the algorithm.

Which you would know if you didn't think discussing the game and how it works was so objectionable that you felt the need to come into the thread to tell us you don't want to talk about the game or how it works.

As much as i want to sh*t on EOMM etc, he is every bit of part of the problem with how he plays currently.

He does a good job of keeping himself alive, positioning himself, fighting back etc..
But his overall Loki lamp placement, usage of Luna's kit etc is highly questionable and is getting team mates killed more often than not (constantly putting snowflake on the same player your pocketing is not good as your effectively losing 20-40% of your total output, or placing 2-3 lamps on yourself instead of putting one in the middle of a fight etc)

Even his manti's gameplay is a bit suspect considering she is highly reliant on headshots to keep her sustain up and he almost exclusively goes for body shots.

This is strictly down to him not knowing what he is doing and only blindly reacting, he has even said as much himself.

The reason why he climbed as fast as he did was because he just didn't die and the people he played against had no idea how to play against it and usually ended up over extending over and over and dying themselves.

He is now at the rank/percentile where this will only get you so far and your mechanical ability alone is at the point of diminishing returns.. i.e he needs to play smarter and more effectively and use kits in ways that suit the level of play.... he cannot be wasting utility.

He is also hurting his teams with being stubborn about not playing healbot characters as they are the only ones actively able to consistently compensate for team mates short comings when it comes to positioning and constant overextending.

I get it and fully agree, they are not fun to play.. but if you want to win you have to adapt.

this is why I said it was sus in the first place he had such a crazy win rate when he plays Loki like a legit gold player at best. He's gotten better at it since of course but his first 2 days where he got GM there's no way he had that winrate with no throwers, leavers, etc, organically. But what do I know apparently Im just a conspiracy theorist thinking that Netease would protect one of their biggest sellers of their game.
No way anyone took that reddit thread seriously... OP is a bot, or that college kid who claimed to be a data scientist on reddit.

if im a bot then youre another low iq weirdo who cant believe eomm is a thing or that netease can be selective about their cash cows not getting it. probably another gold player who will never post your tracker but tell everyone else they just have skill issues when they get intentional throwers right?

Yesterday, Necros literally had crashout because he couldn’t win the games as support. He is now hardstuck at GM 3-2, he even had something like 5-6 games lose streak which is rare for him. And guess who he blamed for that? The brainless dps players in his team. How ironic that supports are blamed for being brainless/boosted but it turn out that dps are bigger ones.
