Lack of cross platform progression and the EBMM has ruined the game for me

Let me first start off by saying, YES, I get all the arguments against console vs PC comp and how that's probably not the best idea.

But that's not what I'm talking about. I mean ... that's not my main point anyway.

My friends are all on console. A few years ago I switched to mouse and keyboard for games because I got so SICK and tired of the fn outdated, worthless, garbage ALP potentiometers that get drift if you look at your controller funny, or breathe the wrong way. But most games on console don't support it. I started to game more and more on my laptop and eventually my new PC.

I barely touch my console anymore, except that if I want to play Rivals with the boys, the only way I can do that (comp anyway) is by playing on console. Which would be fine, I mean it has a 120fps mode which feels really good and stable. Except .. it doesn't support mouse and keyboard.

Now before you start PC does have controller support, even for COMP So it makes no sense to me that I can't use a mouse and keyboard on console.

Even putting COMP with my squad aside. On PC I have to use an alt account. I don't progress my battle pass, events etc. I don't have the skins I have paid for. It sucked ALL the fun out of the game for me. I want to play so bad .. but with mouse and keyboard. But if I do that then I get zero progress. If I play on console, I get progress for my BP etc etc. But then I'm not having any fun, getting enormous cramp because I'm just not used to playing shooters with a controller anymore.

Ok, I get not doing mixed comp .. even though it makes no sense because PC does support controller for some reason. But not being able to use my account and the stuff I paid for .. that's just infuriating

I've barely touched the game since the new season. My friends keep pestering me about doing some solo climb to catch up to them. But I just don't even want to touch the game on console. I love playing on PC but I'm playing for nothing.

Sayonara, this game is kinda dead to me until I can at the very least use my actual account on PC. they promised cross progression, we're halfway through s2 and still fn nothing

Yeah obviously. I get that. I just want my things to carry over bro. Even if I can't do cross platform comp I should at least have my battle pass and skins. I have no incentive to play / grind on PC without those and I have no will to play on PS5 using controller.
