Ask TF2 players. You can't run TF2 on the same computer you used in 2009 anymore.
My Pc isnt too old, and I just updated to 32gb from 16 ram primarily because of this games performance and RAM usage. It legit made no different which is pretty frustrating.
People always use the word "optimize" without understanding what it means. Optimizing is targeting certain components and making your game run well on them.
The best way to optimize is farm data and gear your game towards the majority of the hardware running the game.
As a UE5 title, Rivals is already demanding. So the playerbase, in general, is going to consist of nicer rigs than say, Overwatch 2 (which runs on a potato).
They'll optimize their game towards that higher end as a result.
To make the game run nice, you'll need a brand new M2 SSD, A high-end GPU, and a CPU that is in the top percentile of performance.
I have these things and the game runs flawlessly.
What are the specs? CPU, GPU, RAM. If you're on Intel and Nvidia, I can share what I've done so far.
Why would you use trash UE5 when you have decent UE4 (the graphics in the game are not that amazing to justify the usage of utter garbage UE5).
