8GB of VRAM will get you into the game and play mostly fine, so I'd imagine you're on 6GB or below if that's an issue. An i7 doesn't guarantee any kind of performance it's just the upper mid-range of Intel's product stack. Im assuming by "Graphics up to date" you mean that your graphics drivers are up to date, not that your laptop is using 50 Series / Strix Point APUs, cause if that was the case you'd be able to run the game no problem. If you post your full specs I could probably figure out what component(s) are too outdated or weak, and if everything really is powerful enough to run Rivals, we can move on to other potential issues.

It's a shame that you often need relatively recent hardware to even run brand new games, and it's completely fair to be upset that your system isn't able to run it. No shame in not being a total Pc gaming nerd to know about this stuff : )
